About Me
I am a DPhil student in Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford, working somewhere in the borderlands between geometry and theoretical physics. At the minute I’m studying special Lagrangian geometry, trying to generalise some of the nice facts we know (when symmetry behaves) to higher dimensions. Before that, I spent a while thinking about Einstein manifolds and minimal surfaces. I’m often wondering how this wonderfully crazy pure maths stuff ends up explaining the equally crazy physics stuff.
